What We Believe

About Our Faith
We are followers of Jesus Christ who stand firmly on God’s Word and the historic truths of the Christian faith. Below are the core beliefs we hold, with Scripture to show that our foundation is not our opinion, but God’s truth revealed in the Bible.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, divinely inspired and the perfect revelation of Himself to mankind.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” — 2 Timothy 3:16–17 (CSB)
“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light on my path.” — Psalm 119:105 (CSB)

Jesus Christ
Jesus is “the way, the truth, and the life.” No one can come to God the Father except through Him.
“Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” — John 14:6 (CSB)
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all…” — 1 Timothy 2:5–6 (CSB)

God
We believe in one living and true God perfect, holy, and eternal. He is not a distant force, but an intelligent, personal, and loving Being. He is the Creator of all things, the Redeemer who saves, the Preserver who sustains, and the Ruler over all the universe. He has revealed Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three persons, yet one God.

God the Father
God the Father lovingly reigns over His creation. He cares for the world He made, directs the course of human history, and works out everything according to His perfect grace and purpose. Nothing is outside His knowledge or control, not even the smallest detail.
“One God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all.” — Ephesians 4:6 (CSB)
“Don’t two sparrows sell for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s consent.” — Matthew 10:29 (CSB)

God the Son
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He stepped into human history, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man, our Savior, Redeemer, and soon coming King.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” — John 1:1 (CSB)
“The virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated ‘God is with us.’” — Matthew 1:23 (CSB)

God the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is not just a force, He is fully God, present and active in the world today. He inspired the Scriptures, opens our eyes to the truth, points us to Jesus, convicts us of sin, and empowers us to live holy and bold lives for Christ.
“When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—he will testify about me.” — John 15:26 (CSB)
“When he comes, he will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment.” — John 16:8 (CSB)
